Parks Tacoma is bringing neighbors together for a community litter cleanup at Swan Creek Park on Saturday, November 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers will spend the morning collecting litter throughout the park and the surrounding area, helping to protect a space that many families, walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers enjoy throughout the year. All supplies will be provided, making this an easy way for anyone to get involved.
TAPCO Credit Union is proud to support this event as an Environmental Sustainability Partner. Keeping Tacoma’s parks healthy strengthens the community, supports local wildlife, and ensures outdoor spaces remain safe and welcoming. When volunteers step in to help care for shared green spaces, the impact reaches far beyond one morning of cleanup. Cleaner parks contribute to better water quality, safer trails, and a more enjoyable experience for everyone who visits.
Volunteers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Whether you come as a family, with a group, or on your own, your time and effort make a meaningful difference. Learn more and register on the Parks Tacoma event page.
