Our Newest Branch Is Open in Frederickson!

On Wednesday, June 11, we celebrated the grand opening of our brand-new branch at 176th and Canyon Road in Frederickson, and we couldn’t be more excited to be part of this vibrant and growing community.

It was a great day at the branch. Members, community partners, media, and more came by to check out the new space, grab a snack, and connect with the team. We had a steady stream of friendly faces and familiar names, which is exactly the kind of opening we hoped for.

We kicked off the event with snacks and refreshments in the lobby, then moved outside for a short program. President and CEO Justin Martin spoke about the importance of the new branch and the Frederickson community, highlighting TAPCO’s ongoing commitment to serving the people who live and work in South Pierce County.

Pierce County Executive Ryan Mello followed with a warm welcome, sharing how TAPCO consistently shows up for the community and has a long history of support for its members and the greater Pierce County region.

Branch Manager Elizabeth Stewart and her team were on hand to greet guests and answer questions. Elizabeth brings years of branch leadership experience and is passionate about building relationships, supporting members, and making everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in.

We were also joined by community partners from the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce, Graham Business Association, and Momentum, our design-build partner on the project. Their support and presence made the day even more special.

The Frederickson Branch was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Whether you're opening your first account, refinancing a loan, or just need help planning your next financial step, our team is ready to help.

The branch is now open Monday through Saturday and offers the full range of TAPCO services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and one-on-one financial guidance.

And there’s even more to look forward to. By the end of the year, a new Cutters Point Coffee Co. café and drive-thru will open on-site, adding even more convenience for the community and members stopping by the branch.
