Refer a Friend

Scoring $50 is as easy as referring a friend! Each time you refer a friend to TAPCO, you can score an additional $50! Tap into your contact list and start sharing the news - it's a bonus for them and a bonus for you!

To qualify for the Refer-a-Friend bonus new members to TAPCO Credit Union must open a primary savings, enroll in eStatements and open a loan or checking account with at least 10 posted transactions within 90 days of initial membership opening.

The new membership must be in good standing at the time that the bonus is paid. Members must be a new member and not have a primary savings account in the past 12 months. Once the above requirements are completed, TAPCO will deposit $50 to the new member’s primary savings account, and $50 to the referring (existing) member’s primary savings account before 10/31/2023.

By participating in this promotion, you may receive IRS Form 1099-INT or Form 1099-MISC, if applicable. The recipient is responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes. Bonuses are not-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable.

The annual percentage yield (APY) on savings account is 0.01% as of 1/24/23 and is subject to change. The APY is paid on balances of $25 or more. New members must deposit $25 in the primary savings at account opening. Fees may reduce earning.

Limitations: Each new account is eligible for only one $50 reward for the new member. No more than five (5) referral bonuses will be paid per referring (existing) member.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the program both the referrer and referee must be 18 years of age or older. The program is available to new and existing TAPCO members, based on the requirements above. All new membership accounts and/or loans are subject to TAPCO’s normal approval process. A minimum opening balance of $25 is required for a Savings Account. TAPCO reserves the right to disqualify any referrals in circumstances where TAPCO reasonable believes that referrals were not sent to TAPCO in good faith. Business, representative payee/custodial, UTMAs and youth accounts are not eligible for this program.

Miscellaneous: By participating, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions mentioned herein as well as TAPCO’s Membership and Account Agreement. Offer effective 5/15/23 through 6/30/2023. TAPCO reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of the program at any time without prior notice.
