Bonney Lake Community Rallies Around Local Student Athletes
See how TAPCO’s Bonney Lake Branch and Puget Sound Volleyball Academy brought the community together to raise approximately $3,500 for local student athletes.

There is something special about seeing a community come together for young people who are working toward an exciting goal. When Puget Sound Volleyball Academy’s 14U team earned the opportunity to travel to a national competition, families, community members, and TAPCO employees showed up to help make the journey possible.
Our Bonney Lake Branch was proud to partner with Puget Sound Volleyball Academy to host a community car wash fundraiser for the team. Throughout the event, the encouragement surrounding these student athletes was easy to see. Each car washed and every contribution represented another person cheering them on and investing in their experience.
Together, the event raised approximately $3,500 to help with the team’s travel expenses. It was an exciting result made possible by the athletes, their families, event supporters, and everyone who took the time to stop by. The fundraiser brought people together around a shared purpose while giving the student athletes a chance to see how many people in their community wanted them to succeed.
For our TAPCO team, the event was about more than raising money. It was an opportunity to build relationships, support local youth, and stand beside an organization creating opportunities for student athletes. Those moments reflect the role we want to have in every branch community we serve.
We are grateful to Puget Sound Volleyball Academy for inviting us to be part of the team’s journey. We also want to thank the athletes, their families, and every community member who supported the fundraiser.
