Juneteenth Celebration
All TAPCO branches will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day, a federal holiday commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States.
Juneteenth is a time for reflection, education, and celebration and we’re proud to recognize this important day alongside our community.
TAPCO staff will be participating in the Juneteenth celebration hosted by WayOut Kids at Stewart Heights Park (402 E 56th St in Tacoma). We’ll be there sharing information, connecting with attendees, and supporting this vibrant event that brings the community together through music, food, art, and culture.
We invite you to join us in honoring Juneteenth and continuing the work toward equity, inclusion, and justice for all.
