What is the TAP Into Rewards Program?
The TAP Into Rewards Program is a reward program offering points on qualifying purchases. Points can be redeemed for items such as gift cards, airfare, hotels, merchandise, and travel packages; or for cash back as a statement credit or deposit to your savings account.
Who is eligible for the TAP Into Rewards program?
Current enrolled TAPCO credit card holders and newly approved Gold Card holders are eligible for TAP Into Rewards. New cardholders will begin accruing points on eligible purchases once your credit card is activated. To access and redeem your points, you must register at www.TAPIntoRewards.org.
What is the URL for the TAP Into Rewards website?
Why do I have to enter my full 16-digit credit card number?
As part of the registration process, you will be prompted to select your own username and password. Entering your 16-digit credit card number is necessary for validating eligible reward credit cards.
How do I earn Points?
Every time you use your eligible credit card (linked to your rewards account); you will earn points for every dollar spent in purchases. The number of points earned for every dollar in spend is determined by TAPCO. Use your eligible card for everyday purchases and watch your Points add up. During promotional offers, TAPCO may allow you the ability to earn additional points, which will appear as “Bonus Points” on your statement.
Which transactions are excluded from earning points?
Transactions excluded from point calculation include the following: (a) cash advances, ATM withdrawals, convenience checks, balance transfers, and any point of sale PIN (Personal Identification Number) transactions, except as otherwise permitted in special promotional offers; (b) any fees and card-related charges, if applicable, posted to a Rewards Card account, including ATM fees, late fees, over-limit fees, annual fees, and finance charges as outlined in the applicable Cardholder agreement; or (c) tax payments or any unauthorized charges or transactions. TAPCO reserves the right to determine in our sole discretion whether a particular card transaction is a Qualifying Purchase.
Are there a maximum number of Points I can accrue?
Do my Points expire?
TAP Into Rewards Point Expiration timeframes: Standard Rewards Points (including those from the reward platform conversion) do not expire at this time. Merchant Funded Bonus Reward Points expire three (3) years from the month in which they were posted to your TAP Into Rewards Account. Bonus Reward Points and any Gifted Reward Points expire six (6) months from the month in which they were issued.
What happens to my Points if I close my credit card account?
All points are forfeited when you close your account.
Can I combine my Points if I have two credit cards issued that are eligible for the TAP Into Rewards program?
Points automatically post to a combined reward account for all authorized cardholders under the same loan number. Points will not combine for separate credit card (loan) accounts.
When are points posted to my account?
Reward Points are posted 2-3 business days after an eligible purchase has posted to your credit card account. Purchases eligible for bonus or promotional points will be applied within six (6) weeks of the conclusion of the promotion.
How do I view and redeem points?
The first time you visit to the TAP Into Rewards website, you will Sign Up for rewards. To Sign Up, you will create a Rewards username and password. Each card number must be registered separately; however, points earned with all registered cards will be credited to a single TAP Into Rewards Account, even if two or more card numbers are associated with the same credit account. The Primary member must register a TAP Into Rewards log in at the Program website (www.TAPIntoRewards.org) before the joint member is able to register and log in to www.TAPIntoRewards.org. Upon successful registration, you will be able to view and redeem points. Points displayed will be the accumulation of all points earned by all cardholders.
Do I have the choice to redeem both Rewards (Merchandise) and Cash Back?
There is one Rewards Program (Tap Into Rewards) and two redemption options:
- You can use these points to obtain merchant gift or travel certificates, gift cards, merchandise, and much more (referred to generally as "Rewards"), or
- You may opt into the Cash Back option to enjoy the flexibility of redeeming points for a credit into their savings account or as a statement credit. As an added bonus, we will automatically issue you a savings credit annually, each January, if your point balance equals or exceeds $200.
- These options are mutually exclusive, once one is chosen, you cannot change to the other option.
Can Points be gifted or transferred to another TAP Into Rewards account?
You may gift points to another person or account within TAPCO. Gifted points expire six (6) months from the date gifted and cannot be re-gifted.
Who can redeem the reward points earned on my account?
Reward points may be redeemed by the primary and, if applicable, secondary cardholder on the reward account.

For what items can I redeem my Points?
You may redeem your points in six major categories: travel, gift cards, charity, merchandise; and pay with points or cash back if you are enrolled in the Cash Back program. To select cash back or pay with points, you must opt-in to the Cash Back program. To redeem points, call TAP Into Rewards Customer Service at 1-866-236-7960 or redeem points online at www.TAPIntoRewards.org.
Upon your initial registration at www.TAPIntoRewards.org, you will be prompted to select “Rewards” or “Cash Back”. You will want to review the online disclosures prior to moving forward with your selection. Once you have enrolled in to either program, you may not transition back and forth between Rewards or Cash Back. These two reward program options are mutually exclusive.
How do I redeem my points for general merchandise?
Merchandise redemptions may be made online at www.TAPIntoRewards.org or by phone with Customer Service at 1-866-236-7960. Merchandise may take up to 4-6 weeks for delivery.
How do I redeem my points for gift cards?
Gift card redemptions may be made online at www.TAPIntoRewards.org or by phone with Customer Service at 1-866-236-7960. Gift cards may take up to 4-6 weeks for delivery. TAPCO gift cards are not a redemption option.
How do I redeem Points for Cash Back?
Cash Back or Pay with Points credits are available on qualifying purchases made using your TAPCO Rewards Card and can be redeemed as a deposit to a savings account (TAPCO only) or as a statement credit to your credit card account within the next billing cycle based on the following redemption schedule (table below). Cash Back or Pay with Points requires a $25 minimum redemption. Pay with Points credits may reduce your card balance; however, you are still required to make at least your minimum payment due. It may take up to five (5) business days for the account credit to post to your credit card balance or your savings account. Cash Back redemptions toward your credit card balance or savings account will appear on your statement as a “TAP into Rewards” credit. Cash redemptions may be made online at www.TAPIntoRewards.org or by phone with Customer Service at 1-866-236-7960.
Mandatory Cash Back redemptions will occur once a year in the month of January. Any TAP Into Rewards Cash Back account with eligible points totaling $200 or more will automatically be redeemed into your savings account (bringing your points total to zero) and will appear on your statement as a “TAP into Rewards” credit.
If a member opts into Cash Back, what happens to their existing points?
If the member selects Cash Back, their current rewards point balance will be redeemed as a deposit to
their savings account, based on their overall point balance, with a maximum cash value of $1,500.
Can I upgrade my airline ticket to Business Class or First Class?
For the majority of our airline rewards, you may redeem your Points for any class of service. Tickets are not upgradeable once booked. Members should contact the airline for questions on upgrades or other changes to an itinerary once tickets are booked.
Whom do I contact if something goes wrong with my flight?
You may contact the airline directly. You will receive contact numbers on your flight itinerary, which will be emailed to you after you redeem Points for air travel.
What happens if I cancel a flight booked through the TAP Into Rewards website?
Tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable. Any changes to itinerary must be handled directly with the airline listed on your itinerary. You may be subject to fees enforced by the airline when making changes to your flight itinerary.
Can I receive airline frequent flyer miles for airline tickets using Points?
Yes. To receive airline miles for flying, you should provide your airline frequent flyer number on the travel site or to the agent over the phone when you redeem your Points. If you forget to provide your frequent flyer number, you must work directly with the airline in question to correct the error or address any other discrepancies.
Can I combine my Points and my frequent flyer miles for free airline tickets?
No. The TAP Into Rewards program is unique to TAPCO’s credit card loan accounts and you can only redeem your Points for rewards. If you have airline miles, you need to work with each individual airline frequent flyer program separately.

Why is the Co-Borrower not able to register?
